We’re excited to share the approval of a well-resolved residential infill project at Rowellyn Avenue, Carrum Downs, delivering a new double-storey dwelling to the rear of an existing home alongside a 2-lot subdivision. This project highlights the value of smart, site-responsive design in unlocking development potential within established neighborhoods.

The proposal retains the existing dwelling at the front and introduces a new double-storey residence at the rear. A key challenge involved working within a restrictive brick materiality covenant and a site easement. Through careful planning, the carport was strategically positioned over the easement, enabling a more efficient and generous building footprint while maintaining compliance.
